STI CHECKUP

On physical examination - Not to miss
       Skin, breast
       Lymphadenopathy
       Abdomen
       Oropharynx
       Anogenital
       Pregnancy test

Investigations:

• PAP
• First catch urine for NAAT (PCR)
• Endocervical swab ( chlamydia/ Gonorrhea)
• High vaginal swab & wet film prep
• HIV antibody test 
• Syphilis screening test - VDRL
• Hep B - If negative vaccinate, (Hep A, C) Hep C -- if IV drug use/ HIV +Ve
• Rubella IgG - if negative vaccinate

 If history of oral sex without condoms 

• throat swab - gonorrhea
• Urethral swab - chlamydia ( if symptomatic - urine)
• Anorectal swab
